Mammography Physics Services

QAS provides support for the whole mammography system, from the mammography machine itself to the radiologist’s review monitors. Our California approved Mammography Medical Physicists assist in maintaining mammogram image quality throughout each step for optimal diagnostic results. We strive for timely availability, keeping your down time at a minimum following a tube change, detector change, or other major repair. Included in our service is regulatory consultation, up-to-date guidance on accreditation policies, procedures, State regulations, postings, and FDA or MQSA requirements.

QAS mammography physicists have experience in various manufacturers and models of both 2D and 3D or DBT (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis), including Hologic Selenia, Hologic 3D Dimensions,  Siemens MAMMOMAT, GE Senographe, GE Pristina, Fujifilm ASPIRE Cristalle, and more. We provide services for the most up-to-date technology, including CEDM (Contrast-Enhanced Digital Mammography), as well as sereotactic breast biopsy add-ons and prone breast biopsy systems.
